Need tools, guidance and
mechanic space?
This workshop is for you!
Bring your own bike project or work on one of ours and help us fix bicycles for individuals experiencing difficult life transitions while completing your Earn-a-Bike checklist.
No bike repair experience is necessary, but patience and the ability to work independently with minimal instruction are highly recommended. Work at your own pace, with the help of our volunteer mechanics.
The workshops take place at our location on 1216 Webberville Road. See the schedule below or check our Calendar for hours, dates, and other important information as some of the workshops may require reservations.

Frequently Asked Questions :
How can I volunteer at Yellow Bike?
Volunteers wanting to refurbish bikes for our donation stream can attend either Volunteer, Open, or Women/Trans/Femme Workshops. Volunteers with no bike mechanic skills, as well as seasoned mechanics, are welcomed. Fill out our Volunteer form for all volunteering opportunities.
When can I come in to work on my bike? Will I be able to get help?
You can attend either Open Workshops or WTF (Women/Trans/Femmme) Workshops (if applicable). All our workshops are run by trained volunteer mechanics who will answer any questions and will help you with troubleshooting.
I tried to make a reservation for a shop but there was no availability. What’s up with that?
We are sorry we were not able to accommodate you. For workshops requiring reservations, most likely all the spaces are reserved for the next 14 days leaving no availability. Making your reservation 14 days in advance is the most opportune way.
