Earn your bike

While learning basic bike mechanics and building bikes for Austin’s vulnerable communities identified by our community partners. No bike repair experience is necessary, but diligence, patience, and the ability to work independently with minimal instruction are highly recommended.

Your bike is only 2 steps away:

STEP 1: Volunteer

Volunteer a minimum of 12 hours, while completing your skills checklist at either Open, Volunteer, or Women/Trans/Femme Workshops (if applicable).

STEP 2: Build your bike!

Receive a pre-owned bike and put your new bicycle skills into practice. You’ll have continued access to our shop resources to help you complete your bike project successfully.
