Austin Bicycle Advisory Council

The Austin BAC will be holding elections for both standing members and alternatives on Thursday October 18.

The purpose of the City of Austin Bicycle Advisory Council (BAC) is to advise the City of Austin, and other jurisdictions, on all matters relating to the use of the bicycle. The BAC works hand-in-hand with City staff and other officials to improve cycling conditions for the citizens of Austin.

On October 18, 2012 the BAC will elect four new standing members and at least three alternate members.

If you are interested, please submit the attached completed application (application as an MS Word docment) (application as a PDF) either by e-mail or by dropping it off at our office at 505 Barton Springs Road, Ste 750.

The deadline is Thursday, October 4th.

Please note that it is recommended that those who complete an application, attend the October 18th meeting at 6pm at 505 Barton Springs Road, Ste 800.
