Bikes Across Borders Community Bike Shop (map)
Address: 300 Allen Street, 78702
About: Bikes Across Borders has maintained a long running community bike shop much like the ones we run.  Their large shop is an excellent and established resource for bike repair. We are posting the open hours of their shop on our website (see schedule) to increase the visibility and usage of their shop.  We love to see community bike resources and are happy to provide any assistance to make them successful. This shop is located to the East of Pleasant Valley near 4th street (view map).

WE NEED A PERMANENT HOME - The Yellow Bike Project is looking for a secure, permanent, warehouse space so that we can continue the great work that we've been doing for the past TEN years. For the last 9 years, our space has been generously donated by the City of Austin; however, it is in an old airport building that is destined for demolition and redevelopment in the ongoing Mueller Airport Redevelopment. We have learned that we have until late spring 2008 to find a new home. Stay posted to learn more about how you can help to keep Yellow Bike one of the best community cycling resources around for years to come.
